Particle Size Separating Cyclones
Tisch Environmental PM cyclones are precision particle fractionators used
to separate ambient aerosols by aerodynamic diameter. Larger particles
above the target cut point collect in a removable cup, while smaller
particles continue through the downtube to the sampling filter.
Designed for use downstream of a standard US EPA PM10 inlet, these
cyclones deliver accurate size-selective sampling for PM2.5, PM4, and PM1
at a flow rate of 16.67 L/min.
PM2.5 Cyclone
PM2.5 Fractionating Cyclone
Cut point: PM2.5 at 16.67 L/min
Designed for regulatory and research-grade PM2.5 sampling applications requiring
high accuracy and repeatability.
- Replacement option for common PM2.5 cyclone designs
- Compatible with FRM/FEM sampling setups
- Connects directly to standard PM10 inlets
Model
TE-PM2.5C
PM4 Cyclone
PM4 Fractionating Cyclone
Cut point: PM4 at 16.67 L/min
Intended for respirable particulate monitoring used in occupational and
environmental assessments.
- Provides PM4 separation at standard flow
- Pairs with PM10 pre-separators for staged sampling
- Durable design for long-term field deployment
Model
TE-PM4C
PM1 Cyclone
PM1 Fractionating Cyclone
Cut point: PM1 at 16.67 L/min
Enables enhanced ultrafine particulate research and high-resolution
air quality studies.
- Provides precise PM1 cut performance
- Compatible with standard inlet and downtube sizes
- Ideal for advanced particulate monitoring
